Review: Taco Bell - Grilled Chicken Burrito

Taco Bell's Grilled Chicken Burrito features grilled chicken, seasoned rice, avocado ranch sauce, and grated Cheddar cheese wrapped up in a flour tortilla.  It was 89 cents, and is now 99 cents.
While not very large (a little bit bigger than the individual burritos you can buy at the supermarket frozen food section), it's filling enough for me.

As far as taste goes, it's quite tasty.  There's not a lot of chicken but there's enough for every bite, and the rice is well seasoned with a good flavor.  I can't say I tasted the avocado in the ranch sauce but everything went well together and I'd recommend trying the Taco Bell Grilled Chicken Burrito.

  2. Hard to beat the price.

Worked at Taco Bell in the early 1980s.

MUCH smaller menu and food preparation was also far different than today.

Too many differences to mention but my opinion that food quality/taste was, in innumerable ways, superior back then.

But, if today's Taco Bell offerings were the same and created the same as long ago it would no longer be fast food and the price would likely be akin to a standard Mexican restaurant.

All-in-all, I will take today's Taco Bell over the one of yore.
