Review: Pizza Hut - Cajun Wings

Pizza Hut Cajun Wings in Box
Pizza Hut's Wing Street Cajun Wings are described as being "peppered with Cajun flavors from Louisiana." What the heck does that mean?  According to Wikipedia, "characteristic seasonings include parsley, bay leaf, "green onions" or scallions, and dried cayenne pepper."  They really didn't taste like any of that.

Taking advantage of the current Pizza Hut 50 Cent Wing Wednesdays promotion, these boneless Cajun Wings were eight for $4 and you can expect to wait at least 15-minute after ordering to pick them up.

As I previously stated, I can't say these wings tasted "Cajun" to me; they tasted more like honey BBQ wings but with a good kick of spiciness.  By that I mean if I ate five of these in succession, my mouth would go numb which would allow me to suck on the sixth wing with impunity.  I'm a glass half-full guy.

They were a little bit too sweet for me. It was a nice honey sweetness but just a little too much of it. As with the Buffalo Wings, less sauce would have been better here.

I wonder if you can get the sauce on the side and the wings dry like McDonald Japan's Shaka Shaka Chicken? That would be great! The wings would remain crispy until you put the sauce on to your personal preference and good times would be had by all! Well, unless you shook the wings over someone's head and it somehow spilt. That person would not have a good time.
