Review: Chick-fil-A - Chick-n-Strips

3-piece Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Strips
Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Strips feature tender chicken breast strips marinated and lightly hand breaded before deep-fried in peanut oil. They typically come in 3- or 4-piece boxes, but are also available in 1- or 2-piece sizes in Kid's Meals. A three-piece box like the one I bought runs for $3.55 in these parts.

Basically, Chick-fil-A's Chick-n-Strips taste the same as the chicken patty in their sandwiches and their Chicken Nuggets. It's really the same chicken in a slightly different form. This means they are nicely seasoned, but not too salty. The strip pieces were juicy as well as plump.

They're cooked in peanut oil, but I'm not sure if that makes a whit of difference to me.
Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Strip cross section
I like to enjoy the Chick-n-Strips with Chick-fil-A Sauce which is a mellow cross between a honey mustard sauce and a BBQ sauce. It's sweet, salty, and tart with mustard notes. It's great with their Waffle Fries as well. Unlike other fast food restaurants, they don't ration their sauces and you can get as many of their huge variety as your greedy fingers can grab hold of.
