Review: Starbucks - Pumpkin Spice Creme Frappuccino

Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Creme Frappuccino
In search of better pumpkin flavor, I tried Starbucks' seasonal Pumpkin Spice Creme Frappuccino. "Creme" is Starbucks' fancy name for a milk drink with no coffee, which basically means it's a cup of milk, usually steamed, but not for a cold drink I don't think. They used to be called "Steamers" but that term evokes some rather unpleasant imagery for some. So basically, I got milk, ice, and pumpkin sauce blended together. A 16-ounce "Grande" set me back $4.35.

My Pumpkin Spice Latte Creme was pretty enjoyable, especially since I got it while the temperature was hitting the triple digits in what is turning out to be a very strange fall in California. It's not $4.35 enjoyable unless you absolutely love icy, sweet pumpkin..

The drink was pretty creamy and with no coffee flavor, the pumpkin flavor shone a bit more. I liked that it didn't taste overly sweet. I was sad that I got cinnamon sprinkled on my Pumpkin Spice Latte, but not on the Creme Frappuccino though. I don't think I'd get this one again though as I prefer the hot version with coffee out of Starbucks' pumpkin drinks.

  1. I love this drink so much - they've always put cinnamon on it for me :)
