Review: Frito Lay - Tostitos Hint of Pepper Jack Tortilla Chips

Tostitos Hint of Pepper Jack tortilla chips are stone-ground white corn tortilla chips seasoned with a bit of pepper jack flavor. A 13-ounce bag runs for a retail of about $3.99 which comes out to $2.00 to $3.00 on sale.

Tostitos Hint of Pepper Jack is a bit of a compromise chip. If you ever find yourself thinking that regular Tostitos are too plain and Doritos are too much flavor, Tostitos Hint of Pepper Jack might just be the thing for you.

The flavor reminds me of a lighter version of the Monterey Jack paired with the slightly different texture of a Tostitos chip (versus a Doritos chip). It's pretty good especially if you think Doritos are over seasoned.

I would point out that while I get flavor overload from eating Doritos eventually, I can keep eating these due to the lighter flavor if I'm not paying attention.
