News: Carl's Jr./Hardee's - New Steakhouse Burger

In their take on the type of burger served up in a steakhouse, Carl's Jr. and sister (considering their main consumers, shouldn't it be "brother"?) chain Hardee's offer up the Steakhouse Burger created by none other than the mythical god of hamburgers (at least according to the commercial), Hamblor.

The Steakhouse Burger features mayo, A.1. Steak Sauce, crumbled blue cheese, crispy onion strings, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and a charbroiled beef patty on a sesame seed bun. As far as the beef patty goes, you can get it as a single patty, double patty, or an Angus Six-Dollar Burger (aka Thickburger) patty.

You can check out Hamblor and his supernatural burger creation methods after the jump.

  2. It looks nothing like the picture as the onions are more fried then crispy but the blue cheese and A1 on the classic carls beef patty made it a good burger. I got 2 for $3.88 with a coupon. It did have lettuce which it does not need, also ketchup and Mayo. Nex time i will order it with the Big Carl sauce instead of the ketchup/mayo.

  3. This burger was pathetic at my local Hardees.  Four tiny pieces of onion, one tiny blob of blue cheese.

I returned it for a refund.

    Very disappointing.
