News: El Pollo Loco - New Stuffed Quesadillas

Following on the heels of the limited-time-and-now-gone Pork Carnitas Quesadilla, El Pollo Loco serves up new Stuffed (chicken) Quesadillas. Available in three varieties, the Stuffed Quesadillas feature a Crunchwrap-Supreme-style fold for portable, one-handed eating.

The three flavors are: Chicken, Bacon & Guacamole, Chicken Avocado, and Barbecue Chicken.

The Chicken, Bacon & Guacamole Stuffed Quesadilla is filled with fire-grilled chicken, bacon, jack and cheddar cheeses, guacamole, and pico de gallo (this is the only one they list a description for so I'll have to just guess on the other two).

The Chicken Avocado Quesadilla looks like it comes with fire-grilled chicken, jack cheese, chunks of avocado, and pico de gallo.

The Barbecue Chicken appears to have barbecue sauce, fire-grilled chicken, jack and cheddar cheese, and pico de gallo.

Look for a price of north of $5.

  1. Get 'em while they're hot ye ravenous consumers of copious calories!!!

If events continue as covered by numerous news stories; "Avocado tree-killing beetle," the price of avocado-containing comestibles will rise prodigiously or the use of avocado-containing items will cease.

  3. Don't avocados have a lot of fat? It does seem like a lot to me too though, these things must be really big or something.

  4. 75% of an avocado's calories are from fat, mostly monounsaturated fat.
