Review: Hershey's Kisses Pumpkin Spice Flavor

Hershey's Kisses Pumpkin Spice Flavored Candies are available around Halloween and feature pumpkin-spice flavored white chocolate.

A 10-ounce bag goes for about $2.99 at Target, but I got these after Halloween for half off. I almost missed them too.

The candies give off a pleasant cinnamon and nutmeg aroma and have an orange color that makes them look a bit like a gourd when you unwrap one.

The texture is pretty soft and melts pretty quickly in your hand.

The taste is wonderfully distinct pumpkin tinged with white chocolate. The orange outside layer yields most of the pumpkin flavor and houses a creamy white chocolate center.

Like a lot of white chocolate, it's a little on the sweet side, but there is plenty of pumpkin flavor to be found here.

If you like pumpkin and white chocolate, Hershey's has married them beautifully in Pumpkin Spice Hershey's Kisses.

Soooo... we gotta' be on our gourd when unwrapping?

Slinks off awaiting the inevitable down-vote(s) that gibe me a boo-boo lip and a couple hours of pouting, minimum.

  2. These are indeed ridiculously sweet (I have a huge sweet tooth and even I think they're almost too sweet)... still, they are delicious; the pumpkin and spice flavors are great. The fact that they're so sweet just means it's easy to eat (and enjoy) just one or two, as opposed to mindlessly snacking on them... which probably isn't a bad thing.

  4. I usually buy a bag of these every year, and the bag lasts me a long time... only in this case that's really a positive thing.
