News: McDonald's - McRib Returns December 17

Save the date McRib fans! The long-awaited date will soon arrive. On Monday, December 17, 2012, the McRib returns to the McDonald's menu nationally for a limited time.

The McRib features a somewhat rib-looking ground pork patty covered in barbecue sauce, topped with slivers of fresh onions and a couple of pickle slices, served on a corn-meal-dusted 6-inch roll.

It was supposed to actually return in the Fall, but it ended up getting pushed back and they offered the CBO instead.

Of course, some markets already have the McRib right now including the St. Louis metro area and San Diego market, where you can add a McRib to any McRib Extra Value Meal for an extra buck:

I'm thinking that deal will also be national once the McRib is available everywhere if the teaser picture (top right) is any indication.

If you already have the McRib in your area, be sure to let your fellow readers know below!
