News: Jack in the Box - Bacon Cheddar Potato Wedges are Back

Bacon Cheddar Potato Wedges make their heralded return to Jack in the Box after being discontinued about 6 months ago. Apparently, enough fans were dismayed and took to social media to mount an effective plea to return their beloved Wedges.

Regarding the outcry after Bacon Cheddar Wedges were dismissed, Peter Tremblay, Division Vice President of Menu for Jack in the Box said, “We usually hear from a few disappointed guests, but we have never heard from so many people after a product deletion. Jack’s Facebook fans posted hundreds of comments and started an online petition."

For the uninitiated, Bacon Cheddar Potato Wedges are lightly-battered potato wedges topped with cheddar cheese sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, and diced bacon pieces.

They were first introduced at Jack in the Box back in 1995.

  1. I had no idea they went away, nor have I ever purchased them. It seems like they wouldn't be as good as normal cheese fries. There would be a poor potato to cheese ratio. Yes, I am officially overthinking it.

  2. Naw, man - these are delicious. One of the best things on their menu if you don't mind waiting the few extra minutes it always takes them to prepare 'em.

  3. If I had to choose, I'd probably go with their chili cheese curly fries, but these are great too. If you like this type of thing, this is definitely worth a try.
