News: Michael Angelo's - New Italian Flatbreads

Michael Angelo's, an Italian frozen food company, recently announced a new line of Italian Flatbreads as their first try at appetizers/snacks (because people are snacking more and eating full meals less). The new line features four flatbread varieties: Pepperoni & Salami, Mediterranean, Sausage & Mushroom, and Margherita.

Pepperoni & Salami Flatbread is topped with pepperoni, salami, mozzarella, and imported Italian Romano cheese on spicy arrabbiata tomato sauce.

Mediterranean Flatbread is a vegetarian option that comes topped with artichokes, roasted corn, roasted red peppers, mozzarella, and imported Italian Romano cheese on cream sauce.

Sausage & Mushroom Flatbread features sliced Italian sausage, mushrooms, caramelized onions, mozzarella, and imported Italian Romano cheese on traditional tomato sauce.

Margherita Flatbread consists of slices of fresh mozzarella cheese, basil, and imported Italian Romano cheese on spicy arrabbiata sauce.

The Flatbreads comes two to each 12-ounce box.

Michael Angelo's Pepperoni & Salami, Mediterranean, and Sausage & Mushroom Flatbreads are currently available at Walmart stores nationwide, with additional availability (and Margherita) to follow.

  1. I can't remember actually wanting to look for a specific frozen food, but these look great. If they are similar to the quality of their pasta, I hope they sell well.

  2. Not sure about flatbread, but I do like pizza variations on garlic bread.
