News: BK Delivers Expands to Minnesota and Washington

Burger King's BK Delivers program is once again expanding. It's now available in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Spokane, Washington as the program gradually expands its reach (it's also currently available in Boston, New York, Miami, Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago, the San Francisco Bay area, Las Vegas, Sacramento, greater Washington, D.C., Phoenix, Salt Lake City, and Denver).

The service is accessible online at the BKDelivers.com website as well as by phone at 1-855-Order-BK (855-673-3725). You can also use the website to check if delivery is available in your specific area.

Food is kept at an optimal temperature (both hot and cold) via Burger King's propriety thermal packaging. The Miami NewTimes reports that that items like burgers and fries come in different packaging with burgers coming in a divided plastic clamshell with separated compartments to keep the cold ingredients cold and the burger patty hot up to 30 minutes. Fries and nuggets come in a perforated container that keeps them crispy but warm.
