Review: Dannon - Vanilla Activia Greek Yogurt

Dannon Vanilla Activia nonfat Greek yogurt is vanilla-flavored Greek yogurt with Dannon's exclusive probiotic culture Bifidus Regularis, which helps "regulate the digestive system when consumed daily for two weeks."

A pack of four 5.3-oz cups was $3.99 on sale.

This didn't taste too different from Dannon's regular vanilla Oikos Greek yogurt. There's a smooth and pleasant vanilla flavor and no funky aftertaste.

Where it differed was in a strong tanginess that reminds me more of regular yogurt than of Greek.

Beyond that, it has the same benefits of most Greek yogurts: twice the protein versus regular yogurt and a thicker, creamier consistency.

Overall, Dannon's Vanilla Activia Nonfat Greek yogurt was pretty enjoyable and like a more sour version of its Oikos counterpoart. You might want to give it a try if you veer towards more tangy yogurt with a pleasant finish or just want a Greek yogurt with Bifidus Regularis.
