Review: Nabisco - Garlic Butter Ritz Crackers

Garlic Butter Ritz Crackers are naturally flavored for a taste of garlic butter paired with the crackers.

A 13.7-ounce box was $2 on sale.

Usually when snack crackers are flavored, it tends to be an over-the-top powdery affair (see Wheat Thins). Garlic Butter Ritz crackers take a different, more subdued approach that complements the familiar Ritz flavor.

In appearance and texture, these look and feel like regular Ritz crackers. There the same light, crispy, almost flaky feel.

The garlic flavor is apparent but not too heavy as to overpower the sweet and buttery notes of a standard Ritz cracker. In fact, it pairs with it very well.

Overall, Garlic Butter Ritz Crackers are really good if you like the pairing of garlic and butter (like I do!). Although, they really should be called Garlic Ritz Crackers since plain Ritz crackers are already butter flavored.

  1. Greek yogurt seems like the wrong choice for smoothies.

  2. My girlfriend tried the strawberry banana in San Marcos, CA, last week. Pricey at $6.95, but she really enjoyed it.
