Review: Candy Cane Hershey's White Chocolate Bar

Hershey's Candy Cane White Chocolate Bar is a mint-flavored white chocolate version of their classic chocolate bar with bits of candy in it.

I picked a 3.5-ounce bar up for $1.59.

The white chocolate was fairly run-of-the-mill in quality with a nice bit of creaminess to it as well a pretty strong minty freshness that fits the season well.

Compared to the Hershey's Cookies 'n' Cream bar, it has more in the white chocolate department and less in the crunchy department. The tiny candy bits are thin-shelled nonpareils that deliver a small crunch and seem to be non-minty. The combination works well since the white chocolate has a good amount of mint to it and the nonpareils adds a little candy cane-like texture.

Overall, I liked Hershey's Candy Cane White Chocolate Bar for providing a sizable hit of white chocolate along with cool mint and just a tiny bit of crunch to keep it interesting.
