News: Starbucks Testing Tiramisu Latte

In what could be next year's Caramel Flan Latte, Starbucks is testing a new Tiramisu Latte at Starbucks stores in St. Louis and Jacksonville (Florida, not Illinois sorry).

The dessert/drink features espresso, steamed milk, and a creamy mascarpone sauce/syrup, topped with a dusting of cocoa espresso powder. Like most Starbucks espresso-based drinks, it's available hot, iced, or as a Frappuccino.

Twitter buzz regarding the new drink has been mostly positive so far, although one user had this to say: "The Starbucks worker told me the tiramisu latte is really good so I got it & SHE LIED!!!"

But most feedback was more along the lines of: "I'm probably gonna go broke because of this tiramisu latte at Starbucks!!!" and "...had the tiramisu latte... Awesome!"

If Twitter buzz is anything to go by, it looks like Starbucks might have a winner on their hands.

Tiramisu is an Italian dessert usually consisting of mascarpone cheese, eggs, sugar, espresso (or strong coffee), ladyfingers, and cocoa.
