News: Burger King - New Chicken Big King

Going with an imitation of a Big Mac that McDonald's doesn't offer here in the US, Burger King debuts the new Chicken Big King.

Basically a Big King with breaded chicken patties instead of beef patties, the sandwich also includes American cheese, lettuce, crunchy pickles, onions, King sauce, and, of course, the club-sandwich-style three-part bun.

Seeing as the Chicken Big King appears to use the same chicken patties as Burger King's Crispy Chicken Jr. sandwich, the chain didn't have to add any new ingredients to make the new sandwich.

The Chicken Big King carries a suggested retail price of $3.59 at participating Burger King restaurants. It has also been added as an available choice for Burger King's 2 for $5 Mix-n-Match deal along with the original Big King, Original Chicken Sandwich, and Big Fish Sandwich.

While the concept is new to Burger King, KFC recently introduced as similar sandwich this year in Canada, while McDonald's also offers a Chicken Big Mac in some countries abroad.
