News: 7-Eleven - $1 Big Bite Hot Dogs on July 23, 2014

Like Sonic, 7-Eleven is celebrating National Hot Dog Day on July 23, 2014, by offering their Quarter-Pound Big Bite all-beef hot dogs for a discounted $1 (they're normally over $2) at participating stores, while supplies last.

7-Eleven hot dogs can be topped with a number of condiments free of charge, including nacho cheese and chili.

In honor of the holiday, they've revealed some favorite toppings by region: brown mustard and sauerkraut in New York, chili in Kansas City, cheese in the South, jalapenos and pico de gallo in Texas, mayo in Los Angeles, and chili and cheese in Washington D.C.

There are also a few regionally exclusive toppings:

- In select Chicago area stores, you go for a Chicago-style dog with the provided sport peppers, dill pickle spears, sliced tomatoes, celery salt, and poppy seed buns.

- In Monsey, N.Y., there's a kosher 7-Eleven where you can top your dog with hummus, sweet peppers, and garlic mayo.
