Review: Church's Chicken - Chicken and Biscuit Bites

Church's Chicken's Chicken & Biscuit Bites feature marinated, battered, and deep-fried chicken breast chunks and new bite-sized versions of their signature Honey Butter Biscuits.

It cost me $3.49 for 8 breast chunks and 4 Biscuit Bites.

The chicken came in good-sized chunks and were fresh from the fryer. It was super juicy and carried a salty flavor throughout. The batter was a curious mixture of soft but mostly crispy portions, which I've noticed is that same with their regular fried chicken. Most of the flavor is in the chicken rather than the batter.

The Biscuit Bites looked to be deep-fried rather than baked like their biscuits. The frying made them feel more like hush puppies. They had an enjoyable, crispy crust and the same honeyed glaze, but are just a little more oily from the frying. Inside is the same dense biscuit crumb and buttery flavor.

Overall, Church's Chicken's Chicken & Biscuit Bites were really good, offering convenient bite-sized portions of tasty fried chicken and biscuits.
