Review: Rally's - Garlic Parm Fries & Stix

Rally's Garlic Parm Fries & Stix feature their seasoned fries and seasoned Monsterella Stix drizzled with a garlic parmesan butter sauce and grated parmesan cheese.

I bought an order for $2.99.

While there was a definite (and tasty!) garlic flavor to everything, all the garlic parmesan butter sauce ended up pooled in the corner of the tray.

The fries and Monsterella Stix were tastefully seasoned and crispy. While they're called "Monsterella Stix," the cheese sticks are actually narrower than the typical mozzarella stick, but are also longer. According to the chain, the "monster" portion is for their "monster flavor" due to the fry seasoning, which does add a really nice flavor to them. The cheese inside was mostly warm rather than gooey and hot.
The garlic sauce and parmesan both added a lot of flavor, but also a lot of salt to the already salted fries and cheese sticks. The mozzarella provided enough of a buffer against the salt to make the cheese sticks really enjoyable, but the thin fries didn't stand a chance and were super duper salty!

Overall, I would definitely go for the Garlic Parm Monsterella Stix portion again, but would pass on the fries and garlic parm pairing. It would definitely be good over roasted potatoes though.
