Review: Starbucks - Lemon Ale Fizzio Soda

Starbucks' Lemon Ale Fizzio Soda is described as "lemon juice with a hint of apricot and ginger."

It cost $2.95 for a Grande (16 oz).

The soda was moderately fizzy; I wondered after the fact if I should have asked them to carbonate it as much as possible just to see.

Flavor-wise, it was lemony, but not that tart or tangy, which made me think a little of Sprite. Apricot featured quite prominently, but the ginger was very light. I would have have thought it would have been reversed for something called "Lemon Ale."

Overall, Starbucks' Lemon Ale Fizzio Soda is pleasant enough. For a soda, it's not as sweet and is less like juice and more like flavored water. Try it for a light, fizzy apricot drink.
