Review: Pumpkin Noosa Yogurt

Pumpkin Noosa Yogurt is a seasonal flavor available around this time of year and is exclusive to Target. It features "Aussie Style" yogurt with a layer of spiced pumpkin puree.

I got an 8-oz tub for $2 on sale.

If you've never tried Noosa yogurt before, it's like a richer, creamier, but not-as-thick version of Greek yogurt. It's also a little bit saltier but that just enhances the decadence. I think the secret is they appear to use whole milk rather than 0% or 2%. Regardless, it's super good.

The pumpkin puree looks and feels a little bit like baby food, but tastes like a tasty spoonful of pumpkin pie filling; there's a well-balanced mix of pumpkin and spice. Combined with the yogurt, there's an awesome but guilty feeling of eating whipped cream with pumpkin pie rather than vice versa (the nutritional information tells me otherwise though!).

Overall, Pumpkin Noosa Yogurt is great, especially if you're a fan of pumpkin pie with whipped cream and pumpkin pie-flavored things. Of the pumpkin-flavored things I've tried this season, I'd list this one at or near the top.
