Sonic Offers New Made-to-Order, Low-Calorie Sodas

Sonic rolls out a new low-cal, made-to-order drink platform that they're calling Sonic Splash Hand-Crafted Sodas. The new drinks feature carbonated water as well as fruit and fruit flavors.

You might remember when I spotted them in test last year. Available flavors include Peach, Raspberry, Blackberry-Pineapple as well as signature flavors like Sunshine Berry (strawberries, peach flavor, and fresh lemon) and Hawaiian Wave (mango syrup, pineapple, and fresh lime). Like the rest of the Sonic's menu, you can customize the drinks as you see fit.

Sonic Splash Hand-Crafted Sodas are a permanent addition to the menu and are included in their half-price happy hour as well as their Morning Drink Stop, when large soft drinks and Slushes are discounted to 99 cents before 10 am.

If you're mixing and matching it basically comes down to this: the fruits add calories and the syrups are sugar-free.
