Taco Bell Debuts New Rolled Chicken Tacos

Taco Bell debuts new Rolled Chicken Tacos this upcoming Thursday, November 20, 2014. The new item features shredded white meat chicken rolled up in a corn tortilla and deep-fried.

An order of two will cost $1.99 and comes with a choice of one dipping sauce from a selection that includes new Spicy Ranch, salsa, guacamole, nacho cheese, and sour cream. An order of 4 will sell for $3.99.

For a limited time, Taco Bell will also offer the new Taco Duo 12-Pack, which is like the Taco 12-Pack, but with 6 Rolled Chicken Tacos and 6 Crunchy Tacos, plus 3 dips for $10.99.

Most people would probably call these "taquitos" and might be wondering why Taco Bell is going with Rolled Tacos. Well, wonder no more! I asked why they went with calling them Rolled Tacos and was told that rolled tacos tend to have more filling than taquitos and that, while the name might be unfamiliar to some, "rolled tacos" can actually be found on the menu at Mexican restaurants here in Southern California, especially in the San Diego area. So, there you go (I will point out that they were calling them "Crispy Taquito Dippers" during testing last year).
