McDonald's Lets You See How Chicken McNuggets are Made

Perhaps still haunted by that 'pink goop' or 'pink slime' picture circulating the Internet, McDonald's gives a behind-the-scenes look at how Chicken McNuggets are made.

Grant Imahara, best known for his work on Mythbusters, goes into a Tysons Food factory to show you what cuts of chicken go into a Chicken McNugget (including chicken skin for flavor), what ingredients are in it, and how they're made from chicken to nugget. It was interesting to learn that the McNuggets are only fried long enough to set the tempura shell and are raw inside rather than fully cooked before they're frozen and shipped to restaurants.
