Quaker Debuts 3-Minute Quick Steel-Cut Oatmeal

For fans of steel-cut oats, Quaker now offers new Quick 3-Minute Steel Cut Oatmeal in several varieties.

Steel-cut oats are known for a distinctive, heartier texture and nuttier flavor than rolled oats. The drawback was it usually took 30 minutes or more to prepare them.

Quaker cut the oats smaller to shorten the cooking time dramatically, so bear in mind that this is a compromise product before you buy.

Besides plain oats, Quaker 3-Minute Steel Cut Oatmeal also comes in Blueberries & Cranberries as well as Brown Sugar & Cinnamon flavors.

In addition to the new steel-cut quick oats, Quakers also now offers oatmeal with "Super Grains (a blend of oats, wheat, barley, rye , quinoa, and flax)," Quaker Protein Instant Oatmeal (with nuts for protein), and Quaker Instant Oatmeal: 50% Less Sugar (using stevia, a zero-calorie plant extract like you find in Pepsi True and Coca-Cola Life).
