Review: Church's Chicken - Jalapeno Cheese Bombers

Church's Chicken's Jalapeno Cheese Bombers feature breaded and deep-fried cheddar cheese with bits of jalapeno.

An order of five is normally $1.89 but I got these as part of a combo.

These turn out rather nicely with a crispy, fairly-thick, breaded shell and a molten cheesy core. The shell delivers both a light but satisfying crunch and a slight bit of underlying chew.

Size-wise, they're about the same as most fast food jalapeno poppers I've come across and good for one or two bites.

The little bits of jalapenos pack a notably spicy kick, while the cheddar cheese sauce offers a creamy base as well as a good amount of flavor.

Overall, Church's Chicken's Jalapeno Cheese Bombers are really enjoyable. They offer an ideal mix of oozy creamy cheddar and jalapeno heat with a nice breaded crunch.
