The Best New Fast Foods of 2014

Since I pretty much ate every new thing that came out of the major national fast food chains this year, here's a list of the best new fast food each chain put out in 2014:

Arby's - Cinnamon Apple Crisp (shown above) - A great Fall dessert that's not pumpkin!

Burger King - Orange Freeze - Orangy, icy goodness.

Carl's Jr. - Chorizo Egg & Cheese Biscuit - Surprisingly, Taco Bell hasn't put out chorizo for breakfast, which is a shame because it goes great with cheese and eggs.

Chick-fil-A - Iced Specialty Coffee - Somehow Chick-fil-A got on the cold brew coffee train before Starbucks, or any other national chai for that matter.

Church's Chicken - Chicken Fried Steak - Giant, crunchy, beefy goodness. And cheap to boot!

Domino's - Specialty Chicken - I didn't really care for these but Domino's didn't come out with anything else this year, so yeah...

Jack in the Box's - Croissant Donut - Feels like a hybrid croissant-donut with a soft, buttery flaky interior rather than a croissant shaped like a donut.

KFC's - Loaded Potato Bowl - Better than the original.

McDonald's - Jalapeno Double - Some heat from McDonald's with a bit of crunch!

Papa John's - Philly Cheesesteak Pizza - Papa John's came out with a number of new pizzas this year, but most of them were just mostly weird and not so great. The Philly Cheesesteak Pizza was the best of the lot.

Pizza Hut - Garlic Parmesan Pizza - every pizza chain should have a garlic parmesan pizza.

Popeyes - Spice Box Chicken - I'm surprised more chains haven't introduced a dusting of seasoning onto fried chicken.

Subway - Fritos Chicken Enchilada Melt - This actually offered a different flavor profile than the standard Subway menu, which is nice considering that a lot of their "new" items are more like different combinations of existing ingredients.

Sonic - Cheesy Pub Chicken Sandwich - Misnamed but really solid.

Taco Bell - Rolled Chicken Tacos - I love taquitos!

Wendy's - Pulled Pork Cheese Fries - a really nice combination of a lot of contrasting flavors and textures that could have gone horribly wrong.

That's my list for 2014. What would make your list? Let me know below!
