While some kids might eat this cold at school or maybe put it in the microwave, I put mine together and gave it some toaster oven love.
It turned out pretty nicely, although the cheese melted a little funny:
The cheese, bacon, and crust were actually good together but the sauce was super sweet. Like dessert-level sweet. It tasted like a sweet ketchup with some Italian herbs thrown in. I can only think the sugar helps preserve the sauce and that kids just really love sugar. Regardless, I've never had a pizza sauce that was this sweet.
