Review: McDonald's - Chicken Select Tenders

McDonald's Chicken Select Tenders feature seasoned, battered, and then deep-fried chicken tenderloins.

A 3-piece order cost me $2.99.

Somehow, one of my Chicken Select Tenders seems to have eaten half of another:

These are supposed to be an improved version of McDonald's discontinued Chicken Selects and are only available for a limited time. It's been a long time since I've had a Chicken Select, but these don't seem any different.

The fried batter forms a thick, crunchy shell. It held onto that crunchiness even as the tenders grew cold. Flavor-wise, the shell is lightly seasoned and not too salty.

Inside, the chicken remained tender and relatively moist.

The Chicken Select Tenders came off rather plain eaten on their own and are definitely made for dipping.

Overall, McDonald's Chicken Select Tenders were pretty good as long as you have some sauce to dip them in. By themselves, the textures are nice but the taste a bit plain for my liking.
