McDonald's Brazil Offering Potato Minions

McDonald's is promoting the recently released Minions movie across the globe, but it's only in Brazil that you'll find fried potato cakes shaped like the titular characters.

They're calling them BA-TA-TAS Minions. Batatas means "potatoes" in Portuguese, while the hyphens and capitalization mimics the speech of the Minions.

I imagine the Minions potato cakes are very similar to McCain Smiles.

Additionally, McDonald's Brazil is also offering a sundae with two deep-fried mini banana pies stuck in it. It's available with either a chocolate, caramel, or banana sauce. They're calling it the "Cold & Hot BA-NA-NA."
