Wendy's Testing Crispy Chicken BLT

Wendy's looks to be testing a new value option with the new Crispy Chicken BLT.

Available in El Paso, TX and Springfield (not sure which. Fun fact: There are thirty-four "populated places" named "Springfield" in the U.S.), the sandwich takes the value-priced Crispy Chicken Sandwich and adds two slices of applewood-smoked bacon, a slice of American cheese, and tomato. It's actually not a new concept for Wendys: they offered the same ingredients as the "Crispy Chicken Deluxe" back in 2010.

This isn't the first time that they've played around with the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. Earlier this year, Wendy's offered a "Crispy Dill" version of it and they've done a Monterey Ranch version in the past as well.

I'd guess a $2 suggested price point if this ended up being launched nationally.
