Taco Bell Unveils $1 Breakfast Value Menu

Starting today, Taco Bell launches a new $1 breakfast value menu featuring 10 items for just $1 each, including four new breakfast items. They're calling it the "$1 Morning Value Menu."

The new items include the Mini Skillet Bowl, Bacon Breakfast Soft Taco, Sausage Breakfast Soft Taco, and Sausage Flatbread Quesadilla.

The Mini Skillet Bowl is a bowl filled with seasoned crispy potatoes, scrambled eggs, melted cheese, and pico de gallo.

The Breakfast Soft Taco includes a warm flour tortilla folded over a choice of bacon or sausage plus shredded cheddar and scrambled eggs (it's essentially the A.M Breakfast Griller without the grilling, which it replaces).

The Sausage Flatbread Quesadilla features a grilled flatbread filled with three-cheese blend, sausage, and scrambled eggs.

If the items sound somewhat familiar, they (along with the $1 Morning Value Menu) were spotted in test last summer.

Current menu items available on the menu include the Bacon Grilled Breakfast Burrito, Sausage Grilled Breakfast Burrito, Fiesta Potato Breakfast Burrito, 2 pack of Cinnabon Delights, Hash Brown, and Small Orange Citrus Mountain Dew Kickstart.

To make room for the new value menu items, the Biscuit Taco, Country A.M. Crunchwrap, and Country Breakfast Burrito are being discontinued (which basically means biscuit shells and country gravy are gone). The departure of the Biscuit Taco leaves a void that may someday be filled by the Croissant Taco.

They've also gone and changed the name of the A.M. Crunchwrap to the Breakfast Crunchwrap with the new menu's introduction.

The $1 Morning Value Menu is meant to be a permanent fixture at Taco Bell.
