Starbucks Adds New Snickerdoodle Hot Cocoa for Holidays

Starbucks adds to this year's holiday drink line up with new, limited-time Snickerdoodle Hot Cocoa at participating locations.

The wintry beverage consists of  steamed milk, white chocolate sauce, and cinnamon dolce syrup, topped with whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon sugar (which basically means, with the exception of the cinnamon sugar, you can still custom order it year around).

The drink comes in at $3.75 for a 16-oz Grande (may vary).

The Snickerdoodle Hot Cocoa joins a hot cocoa line up that already includes Peppermint Hot Cocoa, Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa, and White Chocolate Hot Cocoa. Previously, Starbucks was calling the drink's "hot chocolate" rather than hot cocoa. It could be just an issue of semantics but could also leave the door open for the coffee chain to serve actual hot chocolate (sometimes known as sipping chocolate), where chocolate is melted into milk.

In case you like your cake pops, Starbucks is offering a deal to go with the new drink launch where you can get any cake pop for $1 with the purchase of any hot cocoa through December 25, 2016 at participating locations. The cake pops are normally $1.95 (may vary).
