Guacamole Now Available at Starbucks as "Avocado Spread"

In case you've ever had a hankering for some guacamole on your bagel or breakfast sandwich at Starbucks, the coffee chain now offers new Organic Avocado Spread.

While they're calling it "avocado spread," the list of ingredient is the same as you'd find in guacamole: organic Hass avocados, sea salt, onion, garlic, jalapenos, and lime juice.

Like the brand's Evolution Fresh juice, the spread is high-pressure processed, which like pasteurization in that it preserves the food but uses pressure instead of heat to do so.

You can find the new avocado spread in a shallow cup for 95 cents (may vary). It was previously only available in select markets but is now available nationwide.

As a possible candidate to pair with the new guac, Starbucks also introduces the new Sprouted Grain Bagel, a vegan bagel topped with oats, brown and golden flax, sunflower seeds, and wheat. It's available at participating US locations for $1.50 (may vary).
