Aimed at Kids, Fruit-Flavored Cheese Comes to Market

In case you're trying to get your kids (or yourself) to eat more cheese, Cow Candy introduces new fruit-flavored Monterey Jack cheese sticks.

While the cheese might sound like candy, each serving contain only 1 to 2 grams of sugar (courtesy of a blend of stevia, cane sugar, and honey according to the ingredients). It does not appear to contain actual fruit.

According to Cow Candy founder Danyel O'Conner, "While the playful colors and flavor combinations may be surprising to adult palettes, we've seen firsthand how quickly even the pickiest little eaters gobble up this sweet/savory snack."

Cow Candy is available in several different flavors, including fruit punch jack, grape jack, honey jack, orange jack, and strawberry jack cheese. Each 6-oz pack includes eight cheese sticks and retails for about $6.
