Chipotle Taking New Queso Nationwide

Following a test in Southern California and Colorado, Chipotle is set to take their new queso nationwide starting Tuesday, September 12, 2017.

The cheese dip features what they're calling a "complex and slightly spicy flavor" and is made with aged cheddar, tomatillos, tomatoes, and several varieties of peppers.

Like the rest of the Chipotle menu, the queso is made without natural or artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives (except lemon and lime juice which the chain uses for taste).

You can order the queso as part of your entree or on the side with chips (in regular or large sizes). Prices are similar to their guacamole. It's $1.25 to add it to an entree, $3.55 for a regular side, and $5.25 for a large side of it (prices may vary with location).

I tried it during the Southern California testing phase and you can see what I thought here.
