Halo Top Branches Out with New Scoop Shop

Halo Top Creamery looks beyond the frozen food section in opening the brand's first Halo Top Scoop Shop in Canoga Park, CA on Wednesday, November 15, 2017.

In addition to Halo Top's signature low-calorie, low-sugar, and high-protein ice cream by the scoop, the shop will also serve new low-calorie soft serve in an number of flavors including Vanilla Bean, Chocolate, Strawberry, Birthday Cake, Peanut Butter Cup, and Pistachio.

Both the soft serve and ice cream can be ordered in a cup or one of four cones (cake, sugar, waffle, and puffle cone [basically a folded Hong Kong-style egg waffle]). Available toppings include marshmallow sauce, fresh mango, mochi, and shredded coconut.

Other menu items include ice cream sandwiches made with vegan and high-protein cookies and Halo Top tacos made with waffle cone shells.

If you happen to be in the area, the new storefront, which is located on the second level dining terrace at the Westfield Topanga mall, will be handing out free ice cream and soft serve on November 15 from 10 AM until closing to celebrate their grand opening.

The shop's regular operating hours will be Monday to Saturday from 11 AM to 9 PM and Sunday from 10 AM to 7 PM.
