General Mills Updates Logo by Adding a Heart

General Mills updates their signature blue logo with a touch of color and Valentine-ish accent in the form of a red heart that sits near the top of the cursive "G."

According to the company, the untouched "G" speaks to the brand's history and tradition while the new red heart represents the brand's passion: "Making Food People Love."

The company has gone through five logos since its start back in 1928 (the first logo [upper left] featured a wheat and windmill motif. You can find more about the history of the General Mills logo on their website here.
