Torani Unveils New Black Sugar Syrup Due to Growing Sales of Boba Drinks

Torani unveils new Puremade Black Sugar Syrup as an "on-trend" product to address sizable growth of boba drink sales in recent years. Additionally, Torani introduces new Puremade Chocolate Hazelnut Sauce and new Puremade Mangonada Syrup.

According to Torani, the new Puremade Black Sugar Syrup was inspired by kokuto, a dark brown natural cane sugar (sometimes called "black sugar" for its darker color) that is a specialty of Okinawa in Japan. The syrup features a "caramelized flavor with hints of molasses." Black sugar syrup is a popular addition to boba/bubble tea and related drinks.

New Torani Puremade Chocolate Hazelnut Sauce is actually "nut allergen-free" and features a " rich, chocolatey, and nutty" flavor. According to Torani, they used a "complex process" to remove the nut allergen.

New Torani Puremade Mangonada Syrup features a combination of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy from a combination of mango, chamoy, and Tajín chile-lime powder. It's inspired by mangonada, a slushy ice drink often made with mango, chamoy, and chile powder

Torani's Puremade line is made up of syrups and sauces that contain no GMOs and no artificial ingredients, flavors, colors, or preservatives.

Torani Puremade Chocolate Hazelnut Sauce can be found in-store at Cost Plus World Market and online at Torani.com. Puremade Mangonada and Black Sugar Syrups can be purchased online at Torani.com.
