Burger King Swaps Out Bacon Cheeseburger for Rodeo Burger in $1 Value Menu

Burger King updates their "$1 Your Way" value menu by swapping out the Bacon Cheeseburger and replacing it with the Rodeo Burger.

The move seems to be a cost-cutting measure as the Bacon Cheeseburger includes a flame-grilled beef patty, bacon, American cheese, crinkle-cut pickles, yellow mustard, and ketchup on a toasted sesame seed bun, while the Rodeo Burger offers a simple combination of a flame-grilled patty, onions rings, barbecue sauce on a toasted sesame seed bun. Essentially, they're swapping out the pricier bacon and cheese for onion rings (with the sauce costs being fairly negligible).

The $1 Your Way value menu now includes: the Rodeo Burger, the Chicken Jr. (A crispy-fried chicken patty, lettuce, and mayo on a toasted sesame seed bun), value fries, and a value soft drink.

The $1 You Way value menu was first introduced late last year as a limited time offering. Prices and participation for the menu may vary (the items on the menu are mostly $1.29 in my area).
