What to Eat at Disneyland for Halloween 2014

Here's all you need to know about this year's seasonal Halloween menu at Disneyland. I scoured the park so you don't have to. I also tried a number of the tastier/interesting looking stuff, so I'll let you know what to try and what to avoid.

Wendy's Japan's Latest is a Burger with Three Layers of Fancy Cheese

Over in Japan, Wendy's has introduced a new burger to their "Japan Premium" line that's layered with three different cheese, including Gruyere, Emmental (Swiss), and Camembert. Considering that you'd be hard-pressed to get even one of those cheeses at a fast food chain here in the US, that's pretty fancy.

Wendy's Testing New Crispy Dill Chicken Sandwich

Wendy's is testing a new Crispy Dill Chicken Sandwich as a possible future value menu item.

The test item overs a different take on their value-priced Crispy Chicken Sandwich by pairing a crispy chicken patty with a new cucumber dill sauce and crinkle-cut pickles.

Country Gravy Lands on Taco Bell's Breakfast Menu

As I previewed in September, country gravy has made a home on the Taco Bell Breakfast Menu with the new, value-priced Country Grilled Breakfast Burrito and the Country AM Crunchwrap. Additionally, the chain has also added some California flair with the new California AM Crunchwrap.

Review: Pumpkin Noosa Yogurt

Pumpkin Noosa Yogurt is a seasonal flavor available around this time of year and is exclusive to Target. It features "Aussie Style" yogurt with a layer of spiced pumpkin puree.

TV Show Contestant's Dish Makes Denny's Menu

The second episode of reality cooking competition On the Menu saw contestants vying for a chance to see their dish on the Denny's menu the day after the show aired. The show aired on Friday and, sure enough, on Saturday, the winning dish, Apple Danish Stuffed French Toast, was introduced on the Denny's Menu.

Quiznos Launches New Ciabatta Toasties

Quiznos launches new Ciabatta Toasties for a limited-time at participating locations. The sandwiches feature a small, square loaf of Ciabatta bread rather than their traditional baguettes.

Like a lot of brand's this time of  year, Carvel is going with a full pumpkin menu for the fall. The desserts include:

Frozen Friday - Mama Mancini's Beef Meatballs in Italian Sauce

Mama Mancini's Beef Meatballs in Italian Sauce comes with 8 meatballs in a simple marinara sauce. According to the package, it's all natural and made from antibiotic-free beef, which would explain why the only place nearby me that carries them is Whole Foods.

Whole Foods had this for $8.99, which is on the pricey side as it tends to be closer to $7 at other supermarkets (that don't happen to be anywhere near me). Fortunately, I had a coupon from the company for a free one. Unfortunately, it only covered the cost up to $6.99, so this ended up costing me $2 plus tax.

Pizza Hut Korea's latest creation comes topped with surf & turf and stuffed with dessert. It's shaped like a star so they're calling it the "Star Edge Pizza."

Taco Bell Gives the Cheesy Gordita Crunch the Doritos Treatment

Taco Bell gives the Cheesy Gordita Crunch the Doritos treatment (as in Doritos taco shell) for the new Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunch.

The new item features seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, and Pepper Jack sauce inside of a crunchy Doritos taco shell (choose from Fiery, Nacho Cheese, and Cool Ranch), which is then placed inside of a fluffy Gordita shell whose inner surface is covered in a melted 3-cheese blend.

Wendy's BBQ Pulled Pork Cheeseburger comes with pulled pork, broccoli slaw, a quarter-pound hamburger patty, a slice of cheddar cheese, and a choice of BBQ sauce (Sweet, Smoky, or Spicy) on a toasted brioche bun.

It was $4.99 for the burger. I went with the Smoky sauce.
