Del Taco Debuts New Del Dorado Chicken Menu

Del Taco's Del Dorado Chicken Grilled Burrito.
Del Taco debuts its new Del Dorado Chicken Menu. Available now for a limited time, the menu features a combination of the chain's grilled, marinated chicken with new Salsa Roja and returning spicy Jack cheese.

The new Salsa Roja features a roasted tomatillo base with chipotle adobo, jalapeno peppers, chili peppers, and garlic powder.

Items on the new Del Dorado Chicken Menu include:

- New Del Dorado Chicken Epic Burrito - Grilled marinated chicken, Salsa Roja, slow-cooked beans, shredded spicy Jack cheese, diced onions, shredded cabbage, diced tomato, and sour cream, wrapped in a warm, oversized flour tortilla.

- New Del Dorado Chicken Grilled Burrito (pictured)- Grilled marinated chicken, Salsa Roja, shredded spicy Jack cheese, cilantro lime rice, shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, and sour cream, wrapped in a warm flour tortilla and grilled.

- New Del Dorado Chicken Taco - Grilled marinated chicken topped with Salsa Roja, shredded spicy Jack cheese, shredded cabbage, and house-made guacamole, served in a warm flour tortilla with a fresh cut lime wedge on the side.

- New Del Dorado Chicken Quesadilla - Grilled marinated chicken, shredded spicy Jack cheese, and Salsa Roja, folded in a flour tortilla and grilled. The item is served with guacamole and sour cream for dipping.

- New Del Dorado Chicken Crunchtada - A thick, crunchy corn tostada shell layered with grilled marinated chicken, Salsa Roja, spicy Jack cheese, slow-cooked beans, jalapenos, diced tomatoes, and sour cream.

In addition to the new menu, Del Taco continues to offer the limited-time Orange Cream Shake. The shake features a 16-oz vanilla shake blended with Fanta Orange soda.

Both the Del Dorado Chicken Menu and Orange Cream Shake are available now for a limited time through November 11, 2025.

The name for the menu is an interesting choice as "dorado" translates into "gold" or "golden", whereas the main feature here is a new Salsa Roja ("roja" meaning "red", i.e., "red sauce"). Usually, when I see "dorado" in reference to Mexican food, it refers to a crispy-fried item.
