Review: Taco Bell - Classic Chicken Crunchadilla

Taco Bell's Classic Chicken Crunchadilla next to a quarter.

Taco Bell's Classic Chicken Crunchadilla features grilled white-meat chicken, a three-cheese blend, half a crispy Mexican pizza shell, reduced-fat sour cream, and Creamy JalapeƱo Sauce folded in a warm flour tortilla and grilled.

I paid $2.29 for one (it's $2 in most areas).

Oddly enough, there was a good deal of chicken and sauce in my Crunchadilla but not all that much cheese. And the cheese was only partially melted.

Taco Bell's Classic Chicken Crunchadilla opened up.

Between the sour cream and Creamy Jalapeno Sauce, there was a definite creamy tang to the Crunchadilla along with a touch of heat from the latter. It covered up the already mild cheese flavors.

The crispy Mexican pizza shell half made for some crispiness here and there and gave the Crunchadilla some Crunchwrap vibes. The flour tortilla was really nicely toasted.

The chicken added a lightly seasoned flavor and a meaty bite.

Taco Bell's Classic Chicken Crunchadilla cross-section.

Overall, Taco Bell's Classic Chicken Crunchadilla was pretty good for a Crunchwrap-lite experience but might be a little lacking if you have a hankering for a quesadilla (or maybe I just had bad luck with the cheese).
