Chicken Dippers features thin strips of chicken breast meat battered in the chain's Louisiana garlic and spice blend and then fried until crispy. They sound very similar to the Wicked Chicken that Popeyes once offered.
An order of Chicken Dippers comes with a choice of dipping sauce and starts at $4.99. It's also available as part of a Summer Bundle that includes an order of Chicken Dippers, a Chicken Wrap, and a choice of lemonade starting at $9.99.
While the Chicken Dippers are here for a limited time, Popeyes' new Signature Sauce is a permanent menu addition that draws on the chain's Cajun roots and "combines the bold flavors of the Louisiana "holy trinity"; bell pepper, celery, and onion, along with garlic and a dash of hot sauce for just the right amount of heat."
The new sauce comes in a new round cup that's meant to be easier to dip and get all the sauce. Popeye recommends pairing Signature Sauce with the chain's Cajun Fries, chicken sandwiches, wings, and new Chicken Wraps.
Popeyes also puts together a new Build Your Own Bundle exclusive to its website and mobile app. For $20, the bundle includes a choice of three proteins and two sides. Protein choices include: three tenders, two orders of Chicken Dippers, three pieces of fried chicken, six boneless wings, six spicy bone-in wings, and a chicken sandwich. The bundle is available for a limited time through August 31, 2025, at participating locations nationwide.
