Skittles Sour Gummies are a sour version of Skittles Original Gummies that includes sour strawberry, sour green apple, sour lemon, sour orange, and sour grape flavors.
A 3-oz pouch costs about $2, but I received this courtesy of Skittles.
While the gummies are marked with a Skittles "S," it seemed to have rubbed off from most of the candies, with bare traces of it here and there. The gummies are slightly bigger than regular Skittles.
While made with gelatin, the texture of the gummy Skittles brought to mind fruit jellies rather than typical gummies. They're softer with an easier bite.
In terms of flavor, I was somewhat expecting them to taste like generic gummies, but they tasted just like Sour Skittles. The sour level is about the same as the sour gummies you find in the bulk bins at the supermarket, which is to say it's not too sour.
Overall, Skittles Sour Gummies are great in my book. I like sour gummies, and I like Skittles, so it's not surprising I like a mashup of the two. If I had to nitpick, I'd prefer them to be slightly firmer and just a tad chewier.
