Jack in the Box Puts Together $4.99 Munch Better Deal Meal

Jack in the Box welcomes a discounted meal deal close to the $5 sweet spot with the introduction of the new $4.99 Munch Better Deal Meal.

For the price, you get a choice of either a Jr. Jumbo Jack Cheeseburger, a Jr. Chicken Sandwich, a Double Jr. Jumbo Jack (for an extra $1.50), or a Really Big Chicken Sandwich (also for an extra $1.50), plus small fries and a drink.

In case you're wondering what you get with each burger/sandwich, here are the details:

• Jr. Jumbo Jack Cheeseburger - A grilled small beef patty, American cheese, tomato, lettuce, pickle, onions, ketchup, and mayo, served on a toasted bun.
• Jr. Chicken Sandwich - A crispy-fried chicken patty, lettuce, and mayo, served on a toasted bun.
• Double Jr. Jumbo Jack Cheeseburger - Two grilled small beef patties, two slices of American cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, onions, ketchup, and mayo, served on a toasted bun.
• Really Big Chicken Sandwich - Two crispy-fried chicken patties, two slices of Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayo, served on a toasted bun.

The name is an interesting choice as it's the same name that Jack in the Box used for a previous meal deal promotion late last year. That offer included the Gremlins Midnight Meal, the $7 Brunchie Meal, and the $10 Lunchie Meal.

As an alternative, the fast-food chain also offers the $6 Jack Pack (price may vary) that includes a Jr. Jumbo Jack Cheeseburger, a Jr. Chicken Sandwich, a taco, small seasoned curly fries, and a small drink.
