Taco Bell Introduces Decades #TBTB Menu of 2016 Favorites

Taco Bell has launched its Decades #TBTB menu ("TBTB" for "Taco Bell Throwback") featuring four menu items that were available in 2016 (a decade ago), including:

- Naked Chicken Chalupa (suggested price of $5.99) - An occasional limited-time offering, it was still testing in 2016 (it launched nationally in 2017) and features a crispy-fried, white-meat chicken taco shell filled with shredded cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and Avocado Ranch Sauce. The Naked Chicken Chalupa is also featured in a $9 Discovery Luxe Box, along with a Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito, Crunchy Taco, Chips & Nacho Cheese sauce, and a medium fountain drink. 

- Meximelt (suggested price of $2.99) - Once on the permanent menu, it's a folded soft flour tortilla with a filling of seasoned ground beef, pico de gallo, and a melted three-cheese blend.

- Beefy Crunch Burrito (suggested price of $2.79) - Another occasional limited-time menu item, this one features seasoned ground beef, Flamin' Hot Fritos, seasoned rice, reduced-fat sour cream, and nacho cheese sauce, wrapped up in a warm flour tortilla.

- Caramel Apple Empanada (suggested price of $2.99) - Also once a permanent menu item, it features warm apple pieces and caramel inside a deep-fried, crispy pastry pocket.

All four items are available now at participating locations nationwide for a limited time.
