A nod to the 2000s, the Decade Y2K Menu features the limited-time return of several menu items from that time, including the Caramel Apple Empanada, Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos, 7-Layer Burrito, Double Decker Taco, and Chili Cheese Burrito (which is actually always available in select markets).
Here's what you can expect from each item:
- Caramel Apple Empanada - Apple pieces and a creamy caramel filling enclosed in a crispy golden crust. It hasn't been that long since it was last seen, as the chain brought it back for a short run at the tail end of last year. The suggested price for one is $2.99.
- Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco - A Cool Ranch Doritos taco shell filled with seasoned ground beef, shredded lettuce, and shredded cheddar cheese. It carries a suggested price of $2.49.
- Double Decker Taco - A refried bean-filled soft tortilla wrapped around a crunchy taco shell that's filled with seasoned ground beef, shredded lettuce, and shredded cheddar cheese for a suggested price of $2.49.
- 7-Layer Burrito - Refried beans, seasoned rice, reduced-fat sour cream, guacamole, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and three-cheese blend wrapped inside a flour tortilla. The suggested price for the burrito is $2.49.
- Chili Cheese Burrito - Chili and shredded cheddar cheese wrapped inside a flour tortilla for a suggested price of $2.99.
In addition to the limited-time 2000s-themed menu, Taco Bell will also offer a $9 Discovery Luxe Cravings Box and a new Variety Taco Party Pack, which includes the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos. The $9 discounted combo meal consists of a Crunchwrap Supreme, Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco, Crunchy Taco, Chips & Nacho Cheese Sauce, and a medium fountain drink
Finally, if you happen to be in Southern California, Taco Bell Live Mas Cafes will be offering a limited-time Caramel Apple Empanada Chiller in conjunction with the Decades Y2K Menu. The creamy frozen beverage is blended with Caramel Apple Empanada pieces and topped with whipped cream and caramel sauce. A 16-oz cup is $4.19 while a 20-oz cup is $4.59.
