Shake Shack Debuts New Big Shack Burger

Shake Shack's Big Shack burger.
Shake Shack launches a new, Big Mac-esque, deluxe version of its signature ShackBurger called the "Big Shack" as a limited-time special.

Priced at $9.99, the Big Shack features two quarter-pound Angus beef patties, secret sauce, green leaf lettuce, two slices of American cheese, Roma tomatoes, thick-cut pickles, and onions, on three buttered and toasted potato buns.

Key differences from the Big Mac (which costs $6.19 here in Los Angeles) include larger patties, leaf lettuce instead of shredded iceberg lettuce, fresh onion instead of dehydrated onions, the inclusion of tomatoes, and the absence of sesame seeds.

I'm not a fan of the third bun on either burger, but it makes more sense when paired with bigger beef patties.
